NDA (National defence Academy) may be a premier institute that trains the cadets (candidates) to urge selected for Indian Forces (Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy) as officers. NOTE – Students who have debarred by Ministry of Defence from holding any kind of Commission on the Defence Services don't seem to be eligible to apply. Those candidate have failed INSB/PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force.
Age Limit, Gender & Marital Status
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination. Girls aren't allowed
Note 1- The DOB mentioned within the Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination certificate offered or an equivalent certificate can be considered by commission.
Note -two Candidates are informed not to marry till they complete their full training. A candidate who marries following the date of his application though successful at his or any subsequent exam can not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during the training shall be discharged and can be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the govt..
The NDA syllabus has been divided into 2 sections Mathematics and General Ability Test. The General Ability check section can contain questions from totally different topics like English, General Knowledge, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Geography and Current events. For higher preparations candidates can prepare for the exam from the higher than mentioned topics.
Choice procedure SSB
Candidate’s selection will be based mostly on the marks scored by the candidates within the written and SSB interview. The SSB interview consist of 2 stages i.e. stage one and stage 2. The stage (I) carries with it Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and Picture Perception & Description test (PP & DT). The stage (II) will comprise of Interview, cluster testing officer tasks, Psychology tests and the Conference. This test will be organized over four or 5 days. Entire method can carry 900 marks.
The Admit card will be released by authority before two or three weeks from the examination date. Candidates can download the admit card through the official portal of UPSC. There isn't any other method except on-line can be entertained to urge the admit card offered. Candidates inscribe it is necessary to bring the admit card at the examination centre.
The result will be provided to students when one month from the examination. Candidates will check the result through the official web site of UPSC. Candidates are advised to take printout of the result and keep it safe until the choice procedure. NDA written and final result can be declared separately. Before SSB written result will be declared and selected candidates will be referred to as for more admission process.
